The short version: we don’t collect your information.

VA Loan Guide is an independent educational website about the VA home-loan benefit. It is not a lender, does not originate loans, and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency.

This site has no user accounts, no lead forms, no email sign-up, and no phone capture. The calculators run in your browser; the numbers you type are not transmitted to us or stored by us.

The one exception is the voluntary question form. If you send us a question, we receive the message you write and the email address you provide, and we use them for exactly one thing: replying to you. Before the form sends, you confirm with a checkbox that you’re okay receiving that one reply. Your address is not added to any list, shared, or sold, and we don’t keep the message longer than the conversation needs.

• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. These are retained briefly and not used to identify visitors.
• Email delivery. Question-form messages are delivered to us through an email service provider, which processes the message to deliver it.
• Aggregate analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count page views and understand which guides help people. Your browser requests a small script from that service, and it receives the page address and standard request information. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. Your IP address is used only briefly, to estimate your general location and generate an anonymous, daily-rotating visit count, and is not stored or used to identify you personally. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no sale of data.
• Video. The Watch page lists video episodes. The still image and everything around it are served from this site, and nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. When you do, YouTube receives that request and may set its own cookies and track you across other sites, under its own privacy policy.

• Sell, rent, or share visitor information with lead-buying networks.
• Gate content or tools behind an email address.
• Display advertising that requires tracking you across the web.

If this site adds sponsor or advertiser placements in the future, they will be clearly labeled, will not involve cross-site tracking, and this policy will be updated before anything changes.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and material changes will be summarized here.
